The beautiful thing about the Internet is the vast amount of beautiful things to be inspired by. Inspiration is the energy of designers. And like energy, it is neither created nor destroyed, simply transferred. So I’ve created a list of sites that have continually inspired me so hopefully they can be transferred to you.

In no particular order:

1. Fashionary Eye - A collection of abstract captionless photos curated by the creators of Fashionary, one of the best and most innovative tools for any fashion designer.
2. Designspiration - One of the leading inspiration sites for all things design. Whether you’re looking for graphic, fashion, interior, or architecture, you can search by color, trending topic, or word query. And it’s all in an exceptionally designed layout.
3. Polyvore - Probably the most popular site for fashion mood board creation, this is the best site for individuals interested in fashion trends, styling, and interior design. It’s also a social network and free to join so you can also create and publish your own sets and express your individual style.
4. Looklet - An innovation in fashion styling inspiration, Looklet lets you see real clothes on real models in real 3 dimensional format. It’s definitely great for any budding fashion stylist or if you have an eye for putting clothes together.
5. Lookbook - This site is a social network comprised of individuals who showcase their personal style. I love Lookbook because it’s the best way to gain inspiration for trying a new style or seeing what’s new in street fashion. The members of the site are highly creative in their looks and are equally talented in photographing them. You can hype looks you like and see looks from both men and women.
6. Trendland - This site collects the newest in all aspects of creative culture and reports on trends in the industry. The site also has a space for consulting for those interested in forecasting services and they also have a newsletter that you can subscribe to by email.
